Apply a small amount to fingertips and massage into skin until absorbed. Tallow is firm in the jar and softens at skin temperature, so warm it between your fingers first rather than digging out more.
Storage matters more than with a lotion: keep it out of direct sun and away from heat. Above about 85°F it will soften or melt, and if it separates you can stir it gently and refrigerate it.
No. Rendered tallow is close to odourless, and the two essential oils in each jar are what you actually smell. If you are sensitive to lavender, the Orange & Bergamot is the one without it.
The jars carry the standard caution: not for internal consumption, keep away from eyes and open wounds, and pregnant or lactating people should consult a doctor before use. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
